We are frequently asked the question: who self injures?
Despite the media’s frequent portrayal of self-injury being something that predominantly affects teenage girls, at FirstSigns we know this is wholly inaccurate. FirstSigns itself was founded by Wedge – and he’s never going to be a teenage girl!

FirstSigns on BBC Radio – Monday 16th Nov

Wedge will be on the radio on Monday, arguing that health-care professionals mustn’t simply forbid a person from hurting themselves, but rather, support the person as they learn to make new choices and find new coping methods.

‘Assisted’ self-harm isn’t ‘assisted’ at all – UK news
